works just as well as I had been hoping for, definitely a worthwhile purchase for the price, only problem I had was needing an extension for the video cable (my truck is 24 feet long and the included cable is about 18 feet) but the camera itself works great! -- works like advertised
I installed the camera a few weeks ago, so far it has worked great. The only issue I have is the rubber seal on the rim of the camera started to unrap. I will say the picture quality is great full color in day and night mode. In night mode from far away it looks almost black and white but as you get closer to and object the color comes in clear. I wish the camera has a better viewing angle, you can't fully see the corners of the vehicle just what's straight behind you. -- day and night mode work great.
I was looking for an inexpensive back-up camera for assisting in trailering with my truck. No wiring instructions in box, but found on-line at Pyle's website.I have it wired to a Boss BV9560B HU. I spliced into back-up lite of tail lite for the trigger wire to Boss hu and to camera's fused positive lead. Wired negative lead to steel behind tail lite and ran RCA cord to hu ( had to add 12' extension cable) Mounted camera mounted right above hitch ball gives me a close-up to see when I'm aligned with trailer hitch. Around 2-3 hours install for me.
Good color view during daylight with 130 deg field of view. Saves time hitching trailer up. Camera gives me peace of mind to be able to view blind spot below tailgate when backing down ramps. At around 30 bucks I'd say it's a good deal for this camera. -- Good back-up camera at this price point
Like everyone else said, for less than $30 it's a screamin' deal. Installation was fairly straight forward but the instructions were a little cryptic. Daytime vision is excellent with color and no blurriness at all. Night vision was the only reason this gets 4 stars as it is a little grainy and gets worse as you back into dimly lit areas that aren't bright enough to kick over to normal vision. It also was very difficult to see during inclement weather at night. But for the price, I'm definitely sold! -- Great seller! Good product!
